Nig Biz
now that's a BIG picture
Who out there wants a pony? Not a pigmy pony, but a big, bold stallion? Me too.
It seems ADC composer Kennedy has gotten in touch with percussionist and all around swell guy, Schmidt. New rhythmic wonders and probably some oddities are due to come your way, soon, here on ADC.com.
Do any of you wake up in the middle of the night, perhaps @ 5:00am with intense tooth pain? It happened last night to me and I was crying bloody murder. I popped some Ibuprophen and got back to bed.
Be forewarned, if you keep reading this blog, expect only be months of me whining about my tooth pain, like a little jewish kid in a sausage factory. If you are ready for that kind of treatment/excitement, then by all means, read away.
I gots my girrlfriend a banjo today, and goddam if she don't love it. It was a belated birthday present, about 24 days late. But, hey we all love late presents don't we? Better than none at all, unless it's socks.

Larry Is A Whiny Little Bitch
Well, I have to go get a wisdom tooth pulled in about an hour, my appointment's for 8:00 @ night, but god bless the doctor for getting me in at all- I'm in some serious pain! Impacted- that's the word for it. Little known fact- I got my wisdom teeth IN at age 28. Wierd, huh? Lord knows what the bill will be, but I can't live with the pain any longer. I think the closer the pain is to your brain, the harder it is to take it. I suppose if the pain were in my little toe as opposed to my jaw, I could handle it better. And I become a whiny little bitch from two reasons: allergies and tooth pain- just ask Erin. Anyway, lets get through this post, shall we?
First we have Bush, threatening to veto anti-torture legislation. Let's think about this for a minute folks. Bush has NEVER vetoed any bill that has come before him. And now he and Cheney are literally stonewalling McCain who is trying to pass the anti-torture legislation.
What world am I living in? What the fuck is going on? The president of the United States is condoning torture. This is appalling and frightening to me. The drones who worship Bush defend this by saying, "But those people cut our heads off." People, you don't defeat terrorism and extremism by becoming the enemy. As John McCain said, "The enemy fight has no respect for human life or human rights. They don't deserve our sympathy. But this is not about who they are. It is about who we are."
George Bush is a very dangerous man, and I fear for the future of this country. Who knows, maybe just by writing this I will be privilege enough to get a secret dossier compiled about me for use against me when I become too much of a thorn in the side of this administration. One can only hope.
Okie-dokie. On to book reviews. Anyone read Dick Francis? I love the old boy. Here's the deal, he writes mystery novels but they all have to do with racing horses in some way. The most recent of his that I just finished was Driving Force.
Let me tell you, I couldn't put it down. After reading a couple of Francis's novels you kinda realize they are all somewhat formulatic (is that a word?). A former racing jockey gets caught in the middle of some sinister plot and he begins to play detective to figure out what's going on. Add a little romance, top notch characterizations, plus deep immersion into the horseracing world and you've got a hot little pageturner! I have had this toothache, and consequently, I have been laid up reading a lot, sipping Sierra Nevadas to numb the pain.
I read an Agatha Christie book too, but I have to go to get my tooth out now. Sweet novicane!

Horses And Divorces

We voiced the opinion after last years election that there was electronic voting fraud going on and that Bushco probably stole the election by hijacking Ohio. Well, guess what? It seems John Kerry feels the same way. While rigging an election would take an immense conspriacy, you have to wonder if the pre-election polls predicted Ohio as the key state, and the Republicans focused on that state to tamper with. Because of the Electoral College, we have the winner-take-all system. Meaning if there are one or two states that by themselves would swing the election one way or the other, and that state is close, and that state is tampered with . . . you know where I'm going with this. Doesn't it bother anyone that immediately after reelection W's polls went straight back down? By all measurable data he was losing the election on tuesday. But then something happened. What? Luck? Fraud? Vote tampering? Something happened. If W was so beloved, his ratings would be higher. How else do you explain an unpopular president being reelected? Didn't the GAO report last week confirm there were numerous irregularities in the Ohio election?
Oh yeah, the so called "liberal" media missed that story entirely.
If anyone thinks a closed-source, Windows access based system with modems attached was not used to manipulate votes during the election you are retarded. It would take a fourteen year old about three minutes to flip Ohio from Kerry to Bush. And the people running the show know that anyone who mentioned this possibility would be immediately labeled a "crack pot", despite it being obvious to anyone who knows anything about computers. SOMEONE dialed into the Ohio Diebold computers from outside THREE TIMES during the counting process. Is there anyone out there who can say they are comfortable with that? Cheaper, much more secure voting machines with voter verified paper audit trails have been demoed over and over - but the poeple in power don't want to buy them. It's not in either parties [dem/reps] direct interest to have 100% secure voting systems.
Exit polls showed Kerry winning solidly.
Exit polls have accurately predicted the winner in every presidential election in the last fifty years.
In every place where the exit polls were wrong:
1) The state was a battleground state.
2) The exit polls showed Kerry beating Bush, but the final vote count showed Bush winning.
3) Voting was carried out by electronic, paper trail-less voting machines.
Voting machines that left a paper trail showed the same results as exit polls in those areas. Non-electric machines showed the same results as exit polls. The Ukrainian election last year was deemed fraudulent by the international community because of a discrepancy between the exit poll results and the official results.
Let's play a little game I call "Which is more ridiculous?"
1. 62,040,606 American voters actually voted for the guy who can't even form a coherent sentance.
2. Less than 62,040,606 voted for him and there was some fraud somewhere in the many thousands of polling offices around the country.
I'll say number two is the more reasonable proposition.
Not the first stolen election (see 1960 in Illinois) and it will not the be the last. I'm pretty sure Bush had at least some influence on the voting results, and quite possibly stole one if not both of the elections. However, that doesn't get him out now. He's in, and we can't go back in time and give Gore or Kerry the Oval Office. All we can do now is press for election reform to prevent it from happening again.
Kerry knows the election was stolen.
He is in the same secret society with the guy that stole it. Does no one understand both candidates are related and part of the same secret Yale society, brought in two years apart to a club that brings in only 15 members a year? Who in their right mind would believe this shit?
Either way, George W. Bush is clearly too incomptent, intellectually and ethically deficient, and pampered to adequately serve as President, and so are the vast majority of other Republicans. But I don't know why people are making such a big deal about voter fraud. The Electoral college elects the president, based on suggestions by the Freemasons, Rand Corp., and the Elders of Zion.

Get Out Much?
A large weight has been lifted from my shoulders. The albatross around my neck has flown. Ahh. What was that albatross, you ask? Well, let's just say it is financial debt that I am dealing with. My new attitude toward life is do as much as possible in every day. To not leave anything undone that can be accomplished today. It feels pretty good. The exact opposite of the slacker attitude. And boy is it a stress reliever. I had a pretty good day at work today, in other words, I made decent money- but who wants to be a waiter? After I post this, I am going to go fill out the FAFSA application to enroll in a community college in Heber, Utah. Yes ladies and gentlemen, Larry is going to go back to school. For anyone who wants to know more in a nutshell: I was kicked out of highschool, and became bitter toward 'da ejamucation process'. But after waiting tables with people in their fifties, and seeing the obvious non-contentment in their mode of earning a living, I said, "Fuck that.". And while I'm no Einstein, I feel I am intelligent enough to do something worthwhile, perhaps in the science/research field. So why not? It doesn't really matter where I go, I just need to start racking up the 101 classes and get rolling, I will figure out what the hell I am really gonna study in a year or two. Also, on a side note, I'm sick of being poor. :) Not that I live in a gutter or anything, but I see so many peabrain, cocksucking idiots running around with plenty o' dough all because they toe da line, and dammit if I can't do that. Not that I want to, or think money is the meaning of life, but money is a necessary evil, and I figure if I spend a good decade or so actually attempting to get money, instead of not giving a shit, I could amass quite a bundle. But don't worry folks, the music will not suffer, actually I feel it will benefit. A new batch of songs will be up to hear by this weekend. And more is on the way. I am actually going to get an electric guitar soon. I realized I haven't owned an electric in over four years and Kiley misses 'the sad lack of rock music featuring loud distorted guitar', so there you go.
I don't really go see my shrink anymore, I didn't terminate, but I haven't seen him in a bit of time. I kinda feel like I know what to do in my life right now and going to see some stranger to sort it all out is not important now. Like I said, getting as much done is the thing, not sitting around hamming it up with another know everything Johnny.
Tomorrow my girlfriend Erin and I are going to drive down to Moab for a folk festival and some camping. We were just there two weeks ago- eating mushrooms and tripping our asses off as the sun went down and the stars came up. Good times. If y'all haven't been to Moab- go. The goddamned most beautiful country around. It's really cheap to camp right on the Colorado- ten bucks a night. And while Arches is cool- I just like hiking around and exploring. There is so much to discover.

Now, pardon, but back to my favorite topic: the indictments were handed down. All five to Libby. But the case is still under investigation. So Rove and Cheney cannot sleep well at night. Score one for the good guys.

So, now that Libby resigned will he be put on the payroll as a consultant so he can determine exactly why he violated our national security for a political smear campaign and then lied about it under oath? Everyone in Washington knows the real money's in perjury. The really good news for the country is that the White House will be very busy dealing with this and may not have the time to start another dubious war or fuck with something else they don't understand. I've heard of whispered sources saying that Rove gave some 11th-hour information to Fitzgerald . . .
Perhaps Rove essentially turned Scooter over to the wolves to save his own wool. There is no honor amongst thieves, I suppose. Cheney said this Friday:
"In our system of government an accused person is presumed innocent until a contrary finding is made by a jury after an opportunity to answer the charges and a full airing of the facts. Mr. Libby is entitled to that opportunity."
If that's the case, then why has Jose Padilla, an American citizen, spent 3 fucking years in jail without any charges pressed against him?
Fuck you Cheney, I hope you choke to death on your own arrogance.

Cheney and Tenant told Rove and Libby about Plame. There was an article about it in the NY Times and there was also a crawler on NBC news. This was early last week.
According to the indictment, one of the things Scooter lied about was where he heard about Wilsons wife.
Guess what America?
It turns out it was Cheney that told Libby about Wilsons wife.
So Libby did not want to admit that he and the VP had talked about her, even though it was legal for the two of them to be talking about her.
To me, this exposes Cheney as a liar also, for claiming he didn't know who Joe Wilson was, etc etc. I'd bet he's protecting Cheney for his selective intelligence gathering pre-Iraq. Between the facts that have come to light in this investigation, and the recent "Rumsfeld/Cheney intelligence cabal" reports, it seems clear that Cheney and the Pentagon were the ones in charge of making the evidence fit the desired outcome. Probably Cheney. According to the available information, Cheney told Libby about Valerie Wilson and Libby told reporters. Libby told the grand jury that it was a Tim Russert, not Cheney, who told him.
Why lie so much if this is just about Plame? Because it's not. It's about why we are in Iraq.

Ahh, that was nice. All done now. Gotta get it out people, gotta release.
So do any of you out there like to have a drink now and then? Ever try absinthe? Me neither. But if it's good enough for Johnny Depp, it's good enough for me.

Here's an interesting read I stumbled upon, the world's greatest art thefts. Truth is stranger than fiction.
Did anyone see March Of The Penguins? It is a great flick, and strangely, the religious right has picked up on this film as evidence of intelligent design. The movie's director shot back stating his view on the brouhaha. In other news, there is nothing 'intelligent' about intelligent design.
Get ready for depictions & explanations of crop formations in relation to microwaves. Ouch, my head hurts.
Since I have this new girlfriend, all the ladies at work are asking me when I am getting married. They're all married and I guess that means I should be married even though we have been going out for three whole months. Oh yeah, and I live in Utah. Check out this wifes response to her cheating husband. Ahh, isn't marriage bliss?
Anyone remember the Oregon Trail game from elementary school? It was a pretty good game for the time. Here is a recent interview with the creator of Oregon Trail I found amusing.

So I hope you all enjoy the songs and tell me what you think. I'm going to go pack for camping. Remember- don't be a Scooter or you'll get it in the pooter!
